On Saturday, I will embark on a very special trip to Qatar. I’ll be joined by five faculty members and 21 Boston Arts Academy students, who have all taken part in an exciting new Arabic class offered at BAA this year. The Washington Latin Charter School in Washington, DC is our sister school in this amazing program and I’ve been speaking with the Head of School Martha Cutts about what to expect, as their school traveled to Qatar in March (Martha’s been giving me advice on what to pack since I’m a horrible packer!).
We are so excited to meet our new Qatari friends at the two schools we will be visiting (one all-girls and one all-boys), and to learn about the culture. This incredible program is sponsored by the Qatar Foundation International. We will keep you updated during our travels!
