This video captures project-based learning in action during CASA’s first semester as a STEAM-focused, democratic school in Lynn, MA. Project Days highlight hands-on learning rooted in creativity, collaboration, and student voice. The video was filmed and compiled by my Harvard Graduate School of Education students partnering with CASA. I am so proud to have been involved in the creation of this school and I am even more proud of the leadership of Chris Norkun (Principal) and Leanne DeRosa (Assistant Principal) and all the founding teachers and students. This school demonstrates what is possible when community partners, parents/caregivers, young people and educators come together in powerful ways! Adelante! Let’s keep it going!
